Diploma Intermedio di Lingua Italiana "Firenze"®AIL (DILI)

DILI - Diploma Intermedio di Lingua Italiana "FIRENZE"® AIL confirms an intermediate level of proficiency in Italian language. DILI is available at two levels according to the Assessment Grid of the European Language Portfolio (CEFR): DILI B1 and DILI B2.

DILI-B1

  • Suggested preparation time: 240-300 hours
  • Duration of exam: 180 minutes
  • Exam is offered four times a year
  • Ability level according to the Assessment Grid of the European Language Portfolio /Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): B1

By passing this examination of the Italian language, the candidate has shown that he is able to communicate, both orally and in writing, in all everyday situations. He understands conversations that deal with topics of everyday life and can participate in these. He is also able to understand texts that deal with these topics and can express his own opinions in writing.

DILI-B2

  • Time required for the preparation: about 320-400 hours
  • Exam duration: time 220 minutes
  • Exam sessions: 4 times per year
  • Ability level according to the Assessment Grid of the European Language Portfolio /Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): B2

With this Italian language exam the candidate demonstrates to be able to interact, both in an oral and in a written way in the Italian field, on common elaborate subjects familiar to him/her.
