Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC®)

The TOEIC® tests, by ETS directly measure the ability of nonnative speakers of English to listen, read, speak and write in English in the global workplace. TOEIC® test scores are used by 10,000 companies, government agencies and English language learning programs in 120 countries.

 

The TOEIC tests: help businesses build a more effective workforc, give job seekers and employees a competitive edge and enable universities to better prepare students for the international workplace.

 

There are two independent TOEIC Tests:

  • the TOEIC® Listening and Reading test
  • the TOEIC® Speaking and Writing test

When the TOEIC Listening and Reading test is taken together with the TOEIC® Speaking and Writing tests, TOEIC® test scores provide an accurate measure of proficiency in all four English language skills.
